    Default Wheel lock key? Help!

    This sucks.

I had a key for this when I first inherited the '96, but after the move I can't find it. I knew I shoulda thrown these away when I first saw them and HAD the key.

So, does anyone have a wheel lock key to fit this:

Go to Discount and they can remove them. I got all 4 removed for $20.

You may want to try borrowing somebody else's at the meet'n'greet. I know that for MSMs, all the wheel lock keys are identical. It may be the case for other model years, as well. Then again, $20 at DT ain't bad.

mine kinda looks like that but I would have to trade wheels with you for you to use it....lol

I will have to go get it out of the car but it does sort of look like that.

fortunately, the two pieces fit together well enough he was able to twist it off... the BFH may not be the way to go on fragile locking nuts.

$20.00 seems like the reasonable way to go, but if you're just way too cheap, could you just slightly flatten 2 sides of the lock (preferably on opposite sides of the lock :P) by grinding and then use a wrench or socket to remove it?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...'Wow! What a ride!'
