    Default newbee

I'm new here, just a few words of introduction. My name is j.r.mills, I run mtech, a small Miata and Mazda repair shop here in Sherwood AR. I have 40 years of mechanicing experience, including 20 for Mazda dealers, and the last five running my own shop. Love Miatas, currently have six, if you count the Spec Miata build that has been going on for two years and is about half done. I've owned my '90 since new in July of 1989. My wife and I also have a '92, '94R, '03 Club Sport and '05 Mazdaspeed.
I'm an on and off SCCA autocrosser here in C/Stock, and finished 14th on index out of 102 at our last event. I'm also a Spec Miata crew chief for Two Six Motorsports, and went to the SCCA Runoffs at Road America last year.
I'm also the Trackmaster for Miatas at Hallett, and have been for every year we've run the event, you may have met me under the "tree of shame!" My best time at Hallett in my turbo '90 was a 1:33.2 two years ago.
Anything else you'd like to know, ask. I'm easy, but I'm not cheap!

Welcome, JR. Are you going to start a "Tree of Shame" here on the forums?

We have meet, I sure you remember me, I'm the slow guy with the Miata.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

You're gonna have to narrow that down... we've got a lot of those here.
