Default SCCA Solo Event #5 @ TMS Bus Lot - 8/15/2010

Jimmie and I will be there in the Miata. I am not sure if Jimmie will be running STS, XSTS, or TCSP.

    More info at http://www.autocross.com/tr.

He should do one run in each of those classes.

I'm looking for a co-drive for this event. If anyone has a seat open, let me know!

Is Solo RX-7 detailing your car that day?

I'dd offer if I was solo, but I'm sure you will pick up something.

    Mark,

If you haven't already made a deal with OZMDD, I've got an open seat in the RX-8.

John out of town. Trying to decide if I'm going to bring the Ralt or run the RX-7 in Tire.

Hmmm, the car does need a good cleaning... maybe I can talk him into it. Which reminds me, I need to get you into the vette one of these days.

    Looks like fun.

I'll have yet another new co-driver at this event. My car has been driven by more people this season than a ten dollar hooker.

The ten buckers can't afford cars, but Double J can confirm the 20 dolla ho's can.

Looks like a fun course. Being devil's advocate here - there might be a possibility of two drivers "exchanging insurance info" at the two corners that butt up against 114 (between turn 1 and 2/3). Not trying to ruin any Lotus driver's sleep, but as long as the starter staggers properly we should be OK.

No starter staggering required. There is 80' between those two sections, which is more than most courses where two sections get near each other. We consider 75' the minimum.

There's quite a few factors that are considered before a course is approved. Jr512 knows what I'm talking about & has lived the process.

Believe me, if he's published the course, several people have looked at it & approved it already.

With the course lined & the starter taking attention on when a car is started, I have no concerns!

BTW, this course & the next course for the 8/29 event are going to be very representative of what might be seen at Nationals this year..... I just saying!

I might be in the area that day... If so I'll stop by for a bit. Been a loooooong while since I've seen a few of you folks.
I use to worry about money; but then realized I don't HAVE anything to worry about.

Sho nuff, my trip to Austin was cancelled so I'll be there.
