Laps for Charity at Texas Speedway - 2010

Hi everyone,

I wanted to tell you all about Laps for Charity at the Texas Motor Speedway. Its this sat, Sept. 11th.
It costs 30 dollars per car and you get to take 3 laps on the track. I have done this several times with my husbands group and a good time is had by all. If we go as a group, it runs between 5 and 7. You can go alone after 7pm. for info call 817-215-8421. lets try to go as a club. It for such a good cause.

You'll likely get more participation if you make a plan.

Tell us a time and location and you'll either get whining or participation, but at least it will be a start.

Hi everybody<
we can meet at the Crystal Parking lot, located right in front of the Speedway club entrance. My husbands club DFW dodge will be there. We can share the lot with them and there is someone from the track to regester with. Be there around 3:30 or so. since it starts at 5, that would be a good time. Lets all show and make a showing for a good cause. Besides it would be nice to meet some of you all face to face.

Jersey here with an update on the Laps at the speedway. We are sharing a lot with my husbands group, and also running at the same time. Hi all, my name is Art. Jersey's husband.

Just thought I'd throw a little info out there about TMS Laps for Charity. My club DFWLX has participated in this several times. We are happy to have the DFW Miata club join us in the Crystal Parking Lot starting at 4pm on 9/11. We are a club deevoted to HEMI Challengers, Chargers, Magnums and Chrysler 300's. We are having a tailgate party prior to running laps on the speedway. You are welcome to join us and line up with us to run laps. I'm anticipating our club will do their usual thing and have more food than anyone can eat. The Crsytal Lot is located at the far right by turn 1 as you enter the track right in front of the Speedway Club. You can't miss it.

Some of my club members are looking forward to meeting you folks to learn more about running our cars in autocross events you guys run.

Looking forward to meeting you folks. TMS Laps for Charity runs twice a year for a great cause. It costs $30 to run 3 laps. If you time things right 100mph speeds are not out of the question on the high-banked curves. WooHoo!

Good cause and you get more for your donation than I used to get when I bought raffle tickets from Childrens Charities.

5 hours and $30 to stand in a parking lot and drive for 5 minutes. There were even cones! Just like an AX for a good cause.

Hi yall,

I just wanted to thank one thing for coming out to the track yesterday. I had a really good time. Lots of fun to drive the car on the real track. You all missed a good time. There was so much food left over and Arts club was very inviting. sorry that more people didnt come. mabey n ext time.
