Default Tech Day: Help me swap my interior

I picked up rfc's '05 MSM interior (the whole shebang) and I plan on getting it swapped next weekend. Since I've had my interior apart before, I'm not to worried about most of it. I would, however, benefit from some help swapping the dashboards.

If anyone is interested in stopping by next Saturday around 11am or so, holler. I need to know how many cold ones to pick up.

Whats wrong with your current dash? I ask because i thought you already pretty much had the newer nb interior.

My interior used to be black/tan. A while back I swapped to an all-black interior using parts that were in "okay" condition. However, I didn't swap the dash...I painted the bottom-half black along with a lot of other tan plastic pieces like the seatbelt tower covers, kick panels, etc.. It still looks good...but the painted pieces are slightly shinier than the rest of the plastic. So this is my chance to have a 100% "nice" interior.

Plus - I want stock seats for daily duty. Buckling in to 5 point harnesses and climbing in and out of the Sparcos to go to lunch or coffee got old a long time ago.

As it turns out, that burning desire for a new project was just gas. It passed fairly quickly.

Well...no thanks to any of you jokers...the swap is 90% done. The hard part - swapping the dash and wiring (i moved my '99 wiring over to the '05 dash to avoid any potential issues) is done. All that's left is some misc trim pieces and throwing the new seats in. I'll be doing the rest tonight.

You might want to update your profile so us 'jokers' know where you are.

Sorry but after working on Miatas all day, it's not exactly my idea of fun.

Funny. A couple of years ago, when I first moved to Frisco, I would have thought that was far way. After living out here for so long now, that feels like it's just around the corner.
