True, but I think most seek out something more comfortable such as an M3 when they need to take a dump.

    Proposed Work/Run Order

    Run 1 / Work 3
CM, CS, DP, DS, DSP, EM, EP, ES, F125, FP, FSP, FSAE, W, T

    Run 2 / Work 1
AM, ASP, BP, BS, CP, CSP, DM, GS, HS, STU, STX, X

    Run 3 / Work 2
XP, AS, BM, BSP, ESP, FM, FS, GP, SM, SSM, SS, ST, STS, STR

It is very possible that the order could be changed to a 2 heat format instead of 3 heats.

    Fun day, great course.

    Only clean run without a spin ( ~54.8 ) - 9 shifts required.

This spin looked better in person (or so I was told)

zozo, looks like you had fun out there, and thanks for the videos... they are always interesting to watch. I particularly like the "split screen" bit that let's us see the course and you driving. Of course, that view does give us the opportunity to see areas where you might be able to improve you technique.

if you'd like some advice (and I know you didn't ask for it), I think you should ask an experienced autocrosser to (1) take you out in their car, and (2) ride along with you in your car to give you some pointers. By riding with an experienced AXer, you'll see the proper line and get a feel for how fast you can really go. By having an experienced AXer ride with you, he/she will be able to give you immediate feedback and pointers to help you go faster. For example, you need to keep both hands on the steering wheel [on the AX course or on the street, for that matter] and only move your right hand to the shifter when actually shifting.

This is just meant to be constructive feedback...

An experienced autocrosser would ask.... why so much time with ONE hand on the steering wheel?

I always drive with one hand because the other hand is busy waving to my fans as I blast around the course.

True, but its what he was doing with the OTHER hand that was the real problem.

Simple response: 9 shifts, 7 while the car was loaded up some, 2 while the car was above .8 g's.
I generally spend much more time with two hands-on the wheel, but my times during the first half of the course (where most of the one handed stuff occurred) were reasonable - within 2 tenths of KenO, a tenth off of OZMDD, and a tenth ahead of autoxmax.
My problems Sunday had much less to do with line and much more to do with misjudging the surface, especially trying to put down power earlier than the surface would allow.

The system is a race-keeper. It seamlessly merges video, gps, accelerometer, and odb2 data - as a bonus it does easy exporting of videos.

Cost = .002 seconds to a stupid VW.
Other hand was flipping Thomas the bird. Karma got me back by .002.
