Default Code 8 and the AFM

I cleared my codes after disconnecting my battery not too long ago and I'm still throwing a code 8 which is "air flow meter".

I was having issues with stumbling idle occasionally as well as weird performance. Will replacing the AFM fix this?

Looks like you and sxk122 should share notes.

If you are certain its the AFM then replace it.

lol. I'm giving up. car was running fine again tonight. it's going to gary tomorrow. I'll pay for it to be his headache :P

Plus, I'm not getting a code 8... all I had was a code 12 (o2 sensor), then a 1 and a 15 (1 is ignition)... and now there is no code.... arghhh

Yeah, I reset my codes prior to checking so I know its a current code. Apparently a jumpy idle is a symptom of a bad AFM or at least one thats on its way out.
