I think he meant that his no-no square wouldn't be tight.

Seriously, looks like first gear for the turn before the finish.
Blame the construction on 114. Our drivable area was reduced significantly. You'll gain speed on the section parallel to 114.

I made the last corner tight to keep the kids from knocking the timing lights into right field.....again.

I believe that OZMDD made the tighest finish corner known to man at PMS a few months ago. An Evo still managed to hit the lights.

I take that back. At a PCA event at PMS, during a test run, the Porsche driver had to actually use reverse to make it through the corner before the finish. They fixed it before the real runs started.

He learned his lesson and bounced back with an awesome course at MW a couple of weeks later.

When did the PCA ever run at PMS?

They used to run there a lot just a couple years ago. I distinctly recall an event around Easter-time that involved a course design that was an outline of a bunny head, with pivot cones for the ear tips. Worst autox course I've ever driven, including the Calamity Loop I did at PMS!

I remember that bunny course. It was painfull.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Ge out and run before the weather turns nasty. Should be great this weekend.

I need to replace my front brake pads or I can't run tomorrow. If I don't get it done in time I still have to show up and work, right?

You don't have to work if you aren't running, but you can do your brake pads in the parking lot at the event if you don't have time tonight. Worst-case scenario, skip the morning runs while you finish the brakes, then run the PM runs.

If you have a caliper tool, brake pads should be no more than a 30 minute job.

Yeah, I've done pads before. I should have paid closer attention to how much they were wearing. Wasn't expecting to go through them in just a year.

Usually I take time to properly clean everything but won't get that chance this time. And I'll be dropping in old OE pads (which suck) until I can get some better ones.

You'll be fine on stock pads if you drive it properly.

That's surely my problem. I know I've exceeded 300F front rotor temps after a 4-run heat with my current setup. I must be slowing down too much!
