    Default Noob with miata problem

I just got a new clutch installed not to long ago. Worked fine for a couple of months but now my clutch pedal goes all the way down and my car wont even start now. Dont think its the clutch but maybe needs a new master clutch cylinder? Let me know what yall think

You mean the car won't start? I'd look at the clutch switch.

You might take a quick look at the clutch slave cylinder. I once had one of the bolts on the slave cylinder backed out, i.e. disappeared, and let the cylinder rotate around enough that it couldn't depress the clutch shift fork. might also want to have someone press on the clutch petal while you check to see what the slave cylinder does. if the cylinder looks fine, isn't leaking fluid when the pedal's pushed but isn't depressing the shift fork then it's probably the master cylinder like others have said.

Also check pedal feel. When my master cyl puked fluid all over the parking lot, the pedal would go to the floor, zero resistance.

By contrast, when the clutch seized in my Element(spring or something lodged in the pressure plate) the clutch had full hydraulic feel, but wouldn't go into gear. Not to scare you, that's pretty rare. Probably slave or master leaked the fluid out.

Could also be broken shift fork.

Also check the rubber tubing/hose connecting the clutch hydraulic hard lines. It is located on the passenger side close to the firewall. You can see it from the top standing by the passenger side fender. Mine leaked and took me awhile to track that down. TDR sells a "blink blink" stainless steel braided replacement almost the same price as the OEM.

If we were in Vegas I'd bet all my money on the slave cylinder especially if you went with an upgraded pressure plate. Pull the rubber boot back and see if it is full of fluid.
