Registration is now open for the 2012 LSC BMWCCA AX #8 Saturday, October 13th, 2012.
Even if you've never autocrossed before, come on out at give it a try. Instructors are provided for novices, and people wanting to try the sport.

If you want to drive in the event you must register, and be a current BMWCCA Member.
Cost is $35.00 for BMWCCA members if you register before September 25th. After September 24th, the cost increases to $45.00, so REGISTER EARLY!
IMPORTANT: There are no free events given at TMS for new BMW Members.

Online registration is available until 11:59 PM October 5th.
Tech Inspection:
All participant vehicles must pass Tech Inspection on site.
Tech Inspection begins at 8am and will close at 9am.
Mandatory Driver's meeting at 9am. Time penalties will be given for people who miss this meeting.
First car will start around 9:30am.
We will have 5 runs in the morning heat, and 5 runs in the afternoon heat. 10 total runs per driver!
Rides in instructor vehicles are free. A helmet must be worn. There are a limited number of loaner helmets available for those that do not own their own helmet. (Helmets must be rated M-2005 or SA-2005 or newer)

Oil change and recharge. Dropped off Monday at 8:30, picked up Tuesday at 5:30. Faster than my dry cleaner.

DANG. I didnt realize how close this was and missed the "early" registration. Looks like im gunna sit this one out. No way im paying $45 for the TMS

That's the beauty of having AST USA local. I had a stuck adjuster on one of my 5100s - pulled it off the car on Tuesday after work, swung by AST at 8:00 am on Wednesday, left at 9:30 AM with a rebuilt shock, and had the car reassembled by noon.

Indeed. I've had great service from those guys.
ASTs are not very reliable.
