Equipe Rapide Needs Paid Volunteers for a Private autocross October 19th

Hi Guys,

Equipe Rapide is Hosting the Corvair Club autocross on Saturday October 19th at Lone Star Park. We are looking for 8 paid worker positions. If you are interested in helping out then please contact me at [email protected]. You will be working setup, course, and cleanup. You will need to be on site at 7:00 AM and will be leaving at 3:00 PM. Lunch is provided. So if you want to make an easy $75 on a Saturday morning and enjoy watching some really nice Corvairs then please email me. There is a very small chance that you might get to take a run or two on course during the lunch break.

Great event today. Beautiful cars, even one with a V8, cool weather and CLEAN indoor toilets. I didn't take a camera since I was working, so no photographs from me.

Those are great photos of the 3 fastest Corvairs at the event. The black one had a V8. We do this every year and it is awesome to see all the Corvairs. It is kind of full circle for Equipe Rapide because in 1967 the Corvair club started Equipe Rapide. They liked to autocross and started a club that may have been the first in the metroplex to offer autocross.
