    Default Group buy for CG-Lock's.

If we order 10 or more, we can get them for $28 plus shipping. Who is interested? If you vote yes, reply as well so we know who you are.

I'm interested. Does this thing "lock" both the lap and the shoulder belt, or just the lap belt? I'm guessing it just locks the lap portion, since it doesn't [appear to] affect the shoulder belt retractor. joe.MIATA, I'm gonna have to get you to show me the "fixing the shoulder belt, skooching into it so that it's tight" thing you do.

I think it will affect both. There is only one retractor for both the lap and shoulder belt.

I would be interested in two possibly.

Here is the latest from CG-Lock. I offered to buy 1 for myself so I could show it around to the group, and below is his reply!

    Sam,
The Team here at CG-Lock has decided to take a risk...we will send you, via Federal Express, a CG-Lock loaner for the weekend.

If you "aggressively" show it around, and then tell us you honestly believe
you generated sales for us, you may keep it - free. Otherwise, you can send it back or buy it.

(We are car nuts, and we understand!)

To what address should we send the CG-Lock? We will send it "no signature required" so the address can be residential (but not a PO Box). Also, Fed Ex requires a phone number - be sure to give us yours.

    Sweet!

Looks like we will actually get to see a CG-Lock this weekend that's not in a car with Taxi Driver Seat covers! (Onething )

Give me a good review guys. I plan on eventually getting a 5 or 6 point harness but if this works great I might get it to use until I can buy the harness.

It works, but I've had sore spots/ bruises the next day. It squeezes you hard, but you can adjust it.

When I got home from work today, I found the CG-Lock waiting at the front door. I installed it in a few minutes and tried it out parked in the driveway. It will tether you down to the seat! As tight as you want it or can stand it!
Looking forward to trying it out this Sunday! I have lots of CG-Lock handouts to hand out!

When did you talk to the man? My handmade mod still isn't here, and I'm sure yours came with it attached. What does the mod look like? I may be forced to cut the honeymoon short and make my own

    Send photos please

Sorry no pics. The only thing required to install is an allen wrench and it comes with the kit.

I'm guessing the mod is the jaw and the screw-on piece that clamps to the belt buckle. This one is curved and has grooves on both pieces so it 'grabs' the plastic part of the buckle. Make sense?

Is the "install" something we can do with your "free" CG-Lock at the event. I mean, I'd really like to try the thing in my car for one run this Sunday. It sounds like it's just the ticket -- unless/until I install a harness (yes, yes... I know... and the ... gulp... rollbar ).

BTW, does it lock both the lap and shoulder strap?

I'd like to see that too -- got my new modified version, and still can't make it stay on the buckle.

I'm going to the SCCA event. You're going to PCA aren't you? I'm sure we will cross paths sometime soon!
