Any of you fail-bots interested in going to Houston on Dec 5 and/or 6 for the SCCA autocross? The site looks interesting.

Actually nothing on the calendar I'm aware of until January's Oklahoma City Quilt show at the fairgrounds. Which is also the same weekend as the Waco's 2016 Shop Hop. Be covering a lot of ground that weekend. Then in February looks like we will be going to Phoenix Arizona for a show. We have also been talking about a road trip to AQS Quilt Week in Paducah in April.
Oh wait you were just trying to make a funny - Nevermind.
Mmmm interested.. That's quite a drive in my old car. Be fun to do both days. Weather looks nice
Maybe...looking at the satellite, I can't tell if its concrete or asphalt. Anyone know?

It is unsealed asphalt. Its been a while, but I ran the last Tour they had at that site, and the grip was pretty good. The lot is used for paddock during the drag races, so you never know where you're going to find oil spots and other surprises from leaking/damaged drag race cars. It was pretty smooth in 2010, but who knows after this much time.

+1 On what Mike said. The lot has pretty good grip.
One thing with Houston region is they (at least in the past) allow double entry. So you can pay the entry fee twice and get a second heat to run in (you only work once).
I am seriously thinking about making the trip. Anyone else definitely in?
Edit: I see O is signed up. I'm out.
