Couldn't sleep last night and went outside just in time to thwart a couple of hood rats trying to break into one of the neighbors cars.

Made me think maybe it is time for some of that new fangled technology.

Any of you kids have home security cams?

Fry's and Sam's have some very affordable kits. The ones with remote access via smartphone or computer are snazzy.

I like the first two, don't like the third one...

I manage all of these with Blue Iris ( http://blueirissoftware.com/ ). I really like the features on Blue Iris... connects to just about any camera on the planet and has really good options for external connectivity...
