Thread: Vinyl Wrap for Cone Smacking Yahoos??

Default Vinyl Wrap for Cone Smacking Yahoos??

Stopped by my local body shop to talk with them about touching up a couple of blemishes.
They could do it no problem! But were concerned that I would nullify all their nice work due to poor autocross course designs.

This got me thinking about Vinyl wrap on the damage prone areas rather than painting it.

Yea I know I won't find a color match but would Vinyl wrap be able to take the abuse dished out by a Cone Smacking Yahoo better than new paint?

Just use some shelf paper on the front end.

The cones are placed there for you to go around, not into.

Paint it and put on a clear shield. I did it on the 911 and Elise.
    M3 is always the answer.

Clear wrap works fine. At least the Titan XT film on my car does. Cone marks rub off easily. The paint stays pristine.
