Default anyone have the keith tanner book i can borrow?

I'll give it back--promise. i suspect I'll get better results if I offer buy it from the lender and then sell it back to them when i'm through..

i'm thinking about doing the swap this weekend and wanna do some homework.

I have one. I'm in McKinney.

Might be able to scan a few pages and email them to you. What are you doing?

From the sounds of this thread, it looks like he's planning an engine swap.

I have the book... don't know how helpful it would be as I think there is only a couple of pages on engine swaps. I will see if I can dig it up tonight.

I'd buy the 'Enthusiasts Manual' before I bought a Haynes. Anything in the Garage section on Miata.net?

I'll dig up my Kieth Tanner book and see if it looks worth while. I have an Enthusiasts Manual too but it's for the 1.8. You should get an Enthusiasts Manual for the 1.6 at least.

Dang! I forgot. We cleaned up the garage last week and my books are buried right now under a bunch of Garage Sale stuff. Let's see if Titus can come through before I dig them out.

OK... somebody post something to remind me this evening... If I don't see something screaming at me under new posts when I get home, I will forget.

OK... I know you decided against the 1.8 swap, but I thought we should get the info here anyway.
