Thread: Go. See. Senna.

    Default Go. See. Senna.

Just saw Senna in the theater today and I highly recommend it. It's chock full of great race footage, behind the scenes stuff, and LOTS of tension between Prost and Senna. Just go see it. It's playing now at the Angelika in Dallas (Mockingbird Station).

As a side note, I was shocked to find the theater PACKED for a 3:30 show today. When we got out, there was already a long line of people waiting to get into the next show. And they didn't look like your average car dorks, either. Lots of chicks, lots of old folks, lots of kids, lots of regular people not wearing McLaren shirts and Lotus jackets.

I went to the show last night at 8:30. It was really good, almost packed theater too. There were plenty of people with Mclaren jackets though.

Playing hooky are we? What if I need to randomly drop by and pick up some Motul blinker fluid?

You're shit outta luck. Easy to play hooky when the boss is even more of a F1/Indy car nut than I am.

Don't ruin it for me and tell me if he wins the race or not. We're going to see it tonight...

It was weird seeing (on board camera) Senna drive down pit lane at full speed to a waiting pit crew wearing shorts, polo shirts, and ball caps.

    Well duh!

I found it surprising that since Senna's demise, there have been no more fatalities in F1.

Doh! Did I just ruin for everyone? Yeah... um... he doesn't die. He retires to live out his life with hot chicks in Brazil.
