    Axial Vector Engines



    The Advanced Technology Demonstrator (ATD) Electric Power Generator is under current development. The Power Generator line will build upon the successful AVE-E design to achieve unrivalled levels of efficiency and power, ranging from 15 kW to one MW. Specifications for one of the engines currently under development include:


    205 HP @ 2000 RPM
    650 ft-lb torque @ 1200 RPM
    93 cubic inch / 1500cc displacement
    Four stroke operation
    Electro-hydraulic valve control
    12 cylinders and 6 double-ended pistons
    50 mm bore x 65 mm stroke

    As far as non-military or industrial applications, we are developing an Axial Vector based family of electrical generators. The generators will consume less fuel per unit of electrical power output and are considerably smaller than any known internal combustion engine generators.
    Sounds like this engine isn't going to be used in any automotive endeavors.
