Talking Woohoo! Special Weather Statement Issued

Special Weather Statement from the National Weather Service:

    ANDERSON-BELL-BOSQUE-COLLIN-COMANCHE-COOKE-CORYELL-DALLAS-DELTA- DENTON-EASTLAND-ELLIS-ERATH-FALLS-FANNIN-FREESTONE-GRAYSON-HAMILTON- HENDERSON-HILL-HOOD-HOPKINS-HUNT-JACK-JOHNSON-KAUFMAN-LAMAR-LAMPASAS- LEON-LIMESTONE-MCLENNAN-MILAM-MILLS-MONTAGUE-NAVARRO-PALO PINTO- PARKER-RAINS-ROBERTSON-ROCKWALL-SOMERVELL-STEPHENS-TARRANT-VAN ZANDT- WISE-YOUNG- 332 PM CDT TUE OCT 4 2005
...SIGNIFICANT COOL DOWN EXPECTED ACROSS NORTH TEXAS...

A STRONG CANADIAN COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTH TEXAS WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND BRING AN ABRUPT END TO A LONG STRING OF ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES. THE FRONT WILL INITIALLY TURN THE WIND TO NORTH AND INCREASE SPEEDS BETWEEN 15 AND 20 MPH. TEMPERATURES WILL QUICKLY COOL OVERNIGHT WEDNESDAY...WITH LOWS THURSDAY MORNING RANGING FROM THE LOWER 50S IN THE NORTHWEST TO THE MID AND UPPER 60S ACROSS THE EXTREME SOUTHERN COUNTIES.

MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND MUCH COOLER AIR WILL DOMINATE NORTH TEXAS THURSDAY WITH HIGHS ONLY REACHING THE UPPER 50S IN THE EXTREME WEST WITH MIDDLE 60S TO LOWER 70S ELSEWHERE. A NORTH WIND BETWEEN 15 AND 25 MPH THURSDAY WILL MAKE TEMPERATURES FEEL EVEN COOLER.

CLEARING SKIES...DECREASING WINDS...AND DRY AIR WILL YIELD TWO OF THE COOLEST MORNING SO FAR THIS SEASON WITH LOWS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY MORNING RANGING FROM THE UPPER 40S TO THE MIDDLE 50S.

RESIDENTS ACROSS NORTH TEXAS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR THE MUCH COOLER TEMPERATURE...ESPECIALLY WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. ANY TIME SPENT OUTSIDE WILL MOSTLY LIKELY REQUIRE A JACKET.

Must be tough when you and the wife are working different shifts, but you don't have to spill your guts here.

On the cold days it's either POS or the tranny tunnel... and I can't always tell which one smells better.
