Roundup this weekend

I think a few of us are heading to Muenster. Here is the old thread from this site, and here is the site for the roundup. Incase anyone else was planning on going and driving with Geckotek.

Thanks Majik, I just dropped an intro thread in the Intro forum.

I was debating just going to the Meunster thing instead. Still not sure. Seems like some drives through the hill country would be something I don't want to miss.

However, thinking about it a little more, I'm already coming up with several excuses not to go. I have a friend visiting, haven't got the clear bra yet, haven't completed the first oil change, Zaino arrives this week for first wax. Decisions, decisions.

Can anyone who's been tell me if I'll be missing much?

I also would really like to go to the hill country for a run. I have only been around the area on the interstate. But when you can tell there are good roads out there just driving by, there usually are. I havent been to a round-up either, so I dont know what you would be missing their either. Sorry.

I haven't "officially" been to a round-up, but I did manage to meet up with a group for a late evening run 2 falls ago (or was it 3) when I was in Austin for a training class.

It was a great run, for sure, but I'd want a co-driver or spouse or something of the sort for the full weekend deal. I had hoped to garner more enthusiasm from our crew here for a proper run on the round-up this year, but, I've been a lazy bastard... Maybe next year we'll do better.

I'm going and meeting up with 3 other Miatas. We plan to leave at 10 a.m Friday from the McDonalds in Benbrook. I-20 and US-377.

Still not sure if I'm going or not. I'll probably wait till the last second to decide.

Well, finally decided to go and I don't regret it one bit. I had a blast!

FYI, final mileage from Kerrville to Dallas via 16 & 67 was 287 miles. Total mileage over the weekend just topped 1,000 miles!

I guess it depends WHO is wearing the "clear" bra!!!!!!!! BTW, you did miss some wonderful Miata roads if you did not go
