    Cool project.
Nothing a little flat black crinkle paint wouldn't take care of... or a thin vinyl cover snapped in place.

Hey 3Bean... Northern Tool has some cheap power tools on special right now... hammer drill, angle grinder, and a couple more... $9.99 each.

I was at Harbour Freight today over lunch... not quite $10, but they did have them for $15 (grinding wheel included).

Not sure which one it is, but they sell a 4" and a 4 1/2", but they never have wheels for one of them. Look around for replacement wheels before you buy.

Everytime I go there, I call a friend to see which one he needs. I've done that 3 or 4 times, and they've never had any.

Yep... A guy with a lowered Miata and center exit exhaust works there or right next door, as he has been parked out front every time I have been there.

I like the Harbor Freight, but it's quite a drive... Northern Tool is in my town - less than 2mi from the house. I never thought to look for the grinding wheels... I'll have to check that next time I go back.

Yup opened back in July... right around my bday... Come down Business 121 from Frisco and turn left onto the South bound access road of I-35E and it's about 2 blocks down.

It's a very nice good sized store... I was impressed with it when I went in last month.

Usually... then again, it's a different kind of store. NT is more like a cross between Tractor Supply and HF... HF is all about the Chinese tools that are "use a couple of times then throw away"... NT has some like that and some that last a little longer... then they carry quite a bit of farm/ranch/shop kind of stuff.
