    Default TSB?

I've noticed a small rattle in the driver's door on my new '04 Miata. I found a TSB regarding this exact thing (TSB#0901304) on the NHTSA web site, but they don't give a full explanation on what the problem is or what the fix is. All they give is:

    Make : MAZDA Model : MIATA Year : 2004
Service Bulletin Num : 0901304 Date of Bulletin: APR 16, 2004
    NHTSA Item Number: 10006987
    Component: STRUCTURE:BODYOOR
    Summary:
RATTLING NOISE FROM DRIVER'S OR PASSENGER'S DOOR WHEN DRIVING ON A ROUGH ROAD OR CLOSING THE DOOR. *TT

Does anyone know where I can see the full text on a Mazda TSB?

You can normally find them here, but looks like they haven't updated it for the '04s. Nice Car!

    Thanks...

Yeah, several of the TSB sites I've found haven't updated them with the newer TSB's. The one I did find wants $$. I don't want to pay for such a site that I won't use all that much. Maybe time to go ask the dealer if they will make me a copy of it.

Interesting... Mazda Dealer Service Rep said they aren't supposed to give out info on the TSB's. Is this normal??

I kept saying, "But it would be nice if you made me a copy anyway" and got one. Guess it pays to be persistant and polite.

Looks like there is a fit problem with some of the molding/gaskets in the door and the fix is to replace it. (the molding, not the door)

Sounds like it's time to get a louder exhaust so you don't hear the funny noises...

I noticed the same thing about the door rattle on my MSM and posted it on the other board...

I just assumed it was something in the rollbar...

but hey, if there's a TSB about it, I might have to go investigate that.... Wanted to swing by the new Hiley dealership anyway and check it out.. As well as investigate when I can use that little "SAT" button on my radio...
