You won't need it... once you hit those open stretches of highway you can see for miles ahead.

Hell, the statie that hit me for 127 saw me coming from miles away...

Whats in Lubbock? There are a ton of open streches out there. Its a pretty boring drive.

Watch out for the nice town of Cisco a few minutes this side of Abilene.

I'm trying to think if anyone even has a V1, anyone??

I don't even have a radar detector anymore, never did replace the last one that got stolen from my car.

Sounds like it is a good chance to test one out and see if you really want one permanently. Pick one up from one of the electronics stores that offer a 30 day return, and test it out. If you don't like it, return it after the trip.

Only inferior products like Escorts are sold in electronics stores... V1s only come direct, hence his "not enough time to have it shipped" comment.

I'll tell ya again when you come pick it up... They'll see the car coming 12 miles away and have time to call in an airplane to get your speed with a stopwatch... so don't go any faster than you can talk yourself out of jail...
Maybe 4 wheels aren't so bad after all... wickett.org

I told ya... I've driven the roads to El Paso and back too many times. Those bastards out there have eagle eyes!

Well I found one and I will try to keep my speed in the "oops, I am still not used to boost" range
