    heh... I wonder if they're hoping the tC will take all of teh celica sales?

    I know they're trying to move all of the "young" targeted cars to the Scion brand, and keeping Toyota with the Corolla, Camry, etc boring "practicle" cars with good resale value...

    I'm sure thats exactly what they're going for. Its just too bad they're killing off the name for a brand 'image shift'.

    Killing the Celica name is stupid! Were sales that bad in recent history? Or is it just a glitzy marketing plan to boost up the Scion Bread Box Brand?

    Is it just me or are most of the XB's on the road owned by old folks? I don't think that was scion target market for these cars?

    I've noticed that, too. That's what happens when you try to let marketing drive your business instead of product.

    I'd still like to drive an MR-Spyder one of these days. They look like a lot of fun.

    I kinda like the tC and the xB. The tC is better looking when viewed in person... not exactly a heartstopper, but a good looking car. I almost dare say a Acura RSX clone.

    Hold the phone... are they at dealerships already?!

    Autoweek said it was "based on the European Passat competitor" -- if it's that good, looks are secondary IMO. (Plus I like the full greenhouse.)
