Have the fine folks running the SCCA done anything to make an attempt to make this event run a bit better than the last event? I heard a murmur about new(er) computers for timing and scoring!

I couldn't tell you - I'm still not on the BoD listserve, apparently.

I'll be at the TMS event, expecting only three runs, but I'm sure the course will be fun. I'd like to go to that LSBMWCCA twi-night event, but I don't think I'm going to make it.

Besides, having run around Hallett for a few laps in the dark, I can tell you that the OEM Miata headlights are pitifully weak for that kind of thing!

I'll be out at TMS as well....

I know it'll be a long day, but if anyone is interested, we could grill up some burgers & BBQ after at my house if ya like (about a half mile east of the McD's you guys usually meet at.)

    Maybe even a couple beers?

Heck, you oughta bring the grill and sell hot dogs & burgers during the heats you're not working/running. You could make a killing.

Just a reminder there is no walkup registration for this event. The event is full.

I see where they have 200 signed up on line . Wonder how many pre paid for the year folks will also attend???

Looks like this event has all the makings for a long day!

    Hey,
If you have signed up for the TMS event and are not going to make it. Please send me a note so we can plan accordingly. There are people on a waiting list. It also helps to get things to run smoother if we have less no-shows. I'm pushing for 4 runs (I know Phil A. is as well). Overtime be damned.

I would guess the answer is - "alot" bordering on "way too damn many!".

But I should be there too! :P

Trying to work out the run order, and assuming my pleas for folks to let me and the registrar know if they are not coming out. I have about 227 on the list. (that includes the annual prepaid folks)

Just give me a heads up if you decide not to come so I can make sure things balance out.

With my last emailing out (finally figured out how to get the email addresses from DLB racing...just ask Donovan ....Doh!) I've had another 10 or so indicate they won't be able to make it for various reasons (car broke, having to work etc)

Yes we do, the Ft. Worth kids meet at the McD's at the Williams Truck stop at exit 65 (south of TMS) off of 35W.

... and the North Texas / South Oklahoma folks can meet there too! I'll probably have breakfast with my fellow MME autocrossers (I know they are thrilled ). What time ya figuring on, POS?
