It was a long, but good day. Kudos to Solo RX-7 and crew for pulling off an event with five runs and drawing in so many novices. That was a fast course!

+1 ... event ran very smooth for the most part. Fun course, but I'm not crushed it's the last SCCA event at Pennington this year. TMS bus lot in 2 weeks!

I had fun today. It was long. I should have used more sun block.

And, I told you guys that the Old Bull would come back strong.

Fonzi --er, I mean Jr512, kicked butt today.

And what in the world is up with those B stock guys? Geez, they were flying. I think Jon Wagner had some kind of device intalled that trips the lights waaaay before he gets there... I need to ride with one of them to see what they're doing.

I'm getting my tail handed to me in X Class... keep repeating... competition makes you faster, competition makes you faster...

Elderly Stock looked good. (formerly known as AARP stock). Jimmie didn't laugh at the new name as hard as I thought he would ...

Axware gave us a few fits in the first heat, but other than that I felt like it ran pretty well. 5 runs with 138 drivers is a pretty good day (690 runs), even though we didn't finish running until 4:30 or so.

Novice was our single biggest class - 19 competitors. It's good to see a large Novice contingent coming out again.

I've got a bunch of tickets left for the Sunburn Grand Prix. It's a three day pass, but the last day is the same day as our TMS event. Shoot me a message if you'd like some.

It was a fun and long day!

Solo RX-7, just remember who you are running against in X class. Many National Champions: Tommy, Stuart, Stan, Su, Mark, me...

What I am trying to say is...

    Peddle Faster!!!!

Because we're going to make you earn it. So bring it on, we know you can do it!

    BTW, I LOVE new tires!!!!!

Good video. There were two turns that really made or broke alot of people. The course wasn't as so technical that allowed it to be fast even though short. The showcase turn needed patience and a very late apex to turn in so you could keep up speed for the back stretch. On my last run, I lifted slightly in the slalom before turn, set the car and never lifted off the gas once into the turn. I was just seeing what was going to happen and the car actually stayed put allowing me to post a 35.7.

Dang! Mr. Baker and I we real close in CS just 0.037 separating us, and if he hadn't got that pesky he would have won.

I don't mind getting beat, but I got slower with each run

I thought I had the far side figured out on my last run and it was my worst time all day !!! Apparently my gut instincts are better than when I figure stuff out. I don't get to walk much, so my early runs are all wingin' it. I guess I should quit walking all together and just hop in a car.

X is a tough crowd, but you know what they say about the dogs and the porch.

Welcome to the club. Gives us room to improve and move up.

Oh, and the guys placing higher in your class are not card carrying AARP members.
