    Default Lone Star 3000 Rally

    Anybody want to go? LS3K

Well, how about just to the finish on Saturday, May 12?
All vehicles must finish at the Texas Motor Speedway by 1100 for victory lap for charity on the 1.5 mile speedway oval.

All cars will be displayed in an informal concours d’elegance following the timed events.
Maybe meet for breakfast somewhere, go see all the dirty cars and exhausted drivers, take some pictures and eat a late lunch near TMS?

I might be out of town, but if not, then I would be interested in going to the finish.

That looks very cool! The price is steep, but the competition and driving are defintely of interest to me. How are they going to monitor people driving "legal speeds"? I don't even drive legal speeds when I'm not competing!! I did downtown Houston to downtown Dallas in 3 hours flat!!!!

If I made more money I would definitely do it!

Did you see in Autoweek that Denise McCluggage will be driving in the event?

Hmm, I am planning on being home that weekend. I would be up for meeting at the speedway, but entering may be a different story, the entry fee is more than my summer school tuition!

I hear that NASA has a special diaper for those long drives.

Well, I won't be able to make it, my sister is graduating that day. I should be home in the middle of the week before that though
