I like these results better... given the theme of the event ("Cones don't Count"), Vitek ran the results without cone penalties...

    Results w/o cones
    PAX w/o cones

Would've hurt POS (he drove nice and clean), but helped me...

I've been surfing waaaaay too much today...

A Z06 is just like a Miata, but with the other half of the motor . . .

Anyone around here going to Pearsall, I just can't get excited about this one...

Although I really did enjoy Houston.

I'm not going to make it. It's just not in the budget this summer.

    Same here.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

I'll be at Pearsall. But then I'll be making a lot of events trying to grab as much seat time before Nats.

July 8th, SASCA series at AT&T (low traction asphalt seat time)
July 14th, Dallas BMW event at La Grave Field (cheater practice for Div #3)
July 15th, Texas Regional at TWS infield (asphalt seat time)
July 28-29th, SW Divisional #2 at Pearsall
Aug 5th, Houston Regional at GGP +DB (asphalt seat time)
Aug 18-19th, SW Divisonal #3 at La Grave Field
Sep 2nd, Houston Regional at GGP +DB
Sep 21-29th, ProSolo Finale, Nationals Test-N-Tune, Solo Nationals.

What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.

Did anyone notice that the Wootons ran their Mazdaspeed in BSP?

How 'bout the Pedroza's in their new '07 Cooper S?

I spoke to Michael about what BSP prep they've done. He's running (from memory) 14" 1999 OEM wheels, springs, and a few turbo plumbing and ecu items. I think that this was their "driver" car, not the competiton car which stayed on the top deck of their stacker.

Meh. I wanted to go, but had some things that came up this summer that pre-empted the Divisional travel budget.

I looked at the map (where the heck is Pearsall), the accommodations, and then my wallet and decided to stay home.

Houston is sweet since you actually have civilization near the event site, I did Walnut Ridge earlier this year so I figured I already earned my wilderness badge.

    Yea I know I deserve a .

Are you bums signed-up for the Fort Worth Div??

If you don't go, I will hunt you down, rip your arms off & beat you to a bloody pulp with your own arms!
(This is actually part of my job as Divisional Chairman!)

Thanks, and have a nice day.

Nope the Ft. Worth is sooo very far away from my house, and the guy heading the event is mean!
