I'm planning on asking the boss if I can go.

If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Sorry, can't make breakfast. Those BMW courses can be long, so I have to get out there early in order to walk them more than once. Plus, I need the exercise.

No... I'm not going because I am spending the day with my daughter.

Not a bad day at all. It was a pretty good (but typical BMW) AX course, except for a horrible finish. You had to get on the brakes before the timing lights. I did like having a two-minute course where I hit third gear twice, but I also look forward to an SCCA course tomorrow that is more technical. There was a great slalom on the back stretch that was about six cones.

I believe Miatamoto took 2nd in X, I took third, aalvarez04 took 4th, and cone-cerned took 5th. I do not know the order after that.

Bmcreider got 6th. It was a lot of fun except the ending.

I had fun also, except the finish. Yep, third gear twice. On my video, I can see 7000 rpm in 3rd going up the hill, and about 6000 rpm going back down.

Another fun event. Super fast course with a very fun increasing slalom on the back stretch, but the finish was a mess.

Spent the whole day fighting the car I was driving. We ended up disconnecting the rear sway bar in the afternoon and that helped but having the stock rear bar in would have probably helped. It was understeering through the corners pretty bad but it was at least controllable.

A better alignment and some new tires and Gary will have a nice driving Miata.

Indeed it was fun. The course was huge though, BMW's dominated the lap times as far as I could tell.

But, ya, I was in 5th my 2nd to last run, then Doug got faster on the last one while I was driving too slow across the finish line, getting 8/10ths slower than my previous run.

Actually I think fast lap of the day was the silver STi and there was a G class BMW in the double digits as well. I ended up 4th in Z, just didn't have enough HP on those long straights but still ended up with a 103.
