I own Clerks and love it. I did not realize that I never rated it. Clerks II is in my Netflix queue, which is currently at 252 movies. It will take a while for me to get to it.

OMG, that was almost the worst movie I wasted money to see! I didn't think it was that original, it wasn't scary and had no climax IMO.

Don't forget Mallrats on the Kevin Smith list to watch!

On my list that would be Moulin Rouge or Showgirls. Not sure 100% which one was worse... although Showgirls had some nudity in it so I guess it falls into 2nd place by a slim margin.

Nah... It was pretty good. Sort of reminded me of Big Daddy (and included a lot of the Big Daddy cast)... Rather than making it one long running joke, they inserted some sentiment and a message to keep the attention of non Sandler fans. And Ving Rhames is freakin hilarious!

I loved Clerks (and Dogma, and Chasing Amy, etc...), so I bought Clerks II sight-unseen when it came out on DVD... I though it was huge letdown, especially after the genius that was Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back... now that's a funny movie!

After the first 10 minutes of the joke I was basically thinking, "Meh, now what?" I ended up fast forwarding through the DVD. Quite the disappointment.

was a good movie? Wow... I hope you're not being serious. Kevin Smith really mailed that one in... one of the worst wastes of celluloid in a long time.
