Default SCCA Solo II Event #6 - La Grave Field 8/5 (Now with more ego!)

    SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!

    Race Fans, Hot Rodders!

This should be a good time as long as there are not problems with the property management. Perhaps we will see another battle of the RX8s sans tire issues? Looking forward to playing with more NAs in the Tire class. It has the makings of a great event.

We'll see how I feel when I get back in town Friday from Florida. Do you pre-register and pay for SCCA online?

You can (and it's preferred), but you can also pay and register at the event.

Duh' sorry I just woke up and the brain isn't working. I remember seeing all the SCCA events on DLB, thanks guys.

Even if I don't race I may swing by just to watch the B-stock showdown.

I plan on being there as well...

I'm looking forward to this one also. I hope the local SCCS brass was made aware of the lot usage problems that the BMW club ran into recently. It would suck mightily if that happened at the upcoming Divisional weekend!

Yeah, I warned Solo RX-7 about it at the SCCA race on the day after the BMW event.

We're on it. Thanks for the heads up a couple of weeks ago. We were at the site last weekend and there's good sized sink hole that has developed toward the south end of the lot. Not a big deal, but the course will obviously have to dodge it.

    Edited for new content...

Also, make sure you get it through the heads of the site management that when you rent the lot that you didn't think it would be ok for it to be double-booked.

I'll see you guys on Sunday.

I dropped a 30-run set of tires off to be mounted just this morning. I think we'll have a lil' something more for newbie this week.

I'll just keep running the tires I have that someone said I should buy if I didn't mind wasting $1k.

Solo RX-7 might consider bringing in bleacher seats for this battle!

Congrats. Your brand new set of tires was faster than our 90-run, corded set of tires on Pennington's concrete. I would certainly hope so.

Care to put a friendly little wager on the results this weekend? Maybe we can get a B Stock pool going. Winner takes all.

Cage match! It will be good to see Miatamoto at one of our events again!

    -------------------------

Just got confirmation from the LaGrave folks that we are not double booked. All systems go...

Just let Safety know when the cage is completed. We'll need to inspect it

Well, if you were consistently beating a certain yellow RX-8 that was there... I beat him, when was the last time you did that?
