Default Colateral damage solenoind, csv , crv ? Valve f/ 94

Had a mechanic bang up a solenoind valve and put it back together with straws. It's a CSV or CRV solenoid, sits right on top of the engine.
I'd like to replace i with used but working. Anybody got one for sale or where is the best place to look near Richardson He also lost on of my head light notor adjustment knobs. Mazda thinks these tings are made of gold

Year, Make, and Model of car please.

Also, if you have a picture of the damaged parts that would help.

Also, where is said bad mechanic who broke it but isn't replacing it?

Proofreading before clicking submit is a great idea if you want people to understand you and offer assistance.

Besides that, it might help to know the year model of your car. I'm assuming it's a 90-97 based on your mention of a "head light notor adjustment knobs" which I am assuming is a head light motor adjustment knob.

It still does not clarify your archaic typing.

It sounds to me like you need a PCV Valve and a head light motor adjustment knob. I can sell you the knob. The PCV valve is not something that you really want to go used with. It is a maintenance item that should be replaced every 60k miles or so. Stop by any auto parts store and buy a new one... should be pretty cheap.

    A pic would help.

There are many folks here with parts stashes that might have it.

The tricky part is that there really isn't much on the engine that sounds like what you are describing.

Well, as many of you know, I have a 94. Upon closer inspection, I noticed a little solenoid between the plasma capacitor and the exhaust bearing switch. I'll see if I can find out the name of this little gizmo...

The only things that "sits right on top of the engine" are the oil filler cap, plug wires, and the PCV valve. At the back are the ignition coil packs. In front left is the throttle body with some switches and solenoids, but I wouldn't call that on top. Also, in front is a water temp sensor, but I wouldn't call that on top either.

    Would that be PUT?

There is nothing unique to a 94, that you can see, at least.

Yes, a picture would help......a LOT!

The only thing I can see that might somehow be rigged with soda straws would be the PCV valve.

Did he also put a little umbrella on it? If he did does it smell like pineapple?

Sammm has some very special TCB magnets for the sort of person who would buy a used PCV valve... Those things are $2.50 at Autozone... That would be hilarious.

no offense but if you're too stubborn to post pics except to "those in the know" then most of us could really give a crap about your busted car :)

If you want help from a forum, use some common sense and post all the pics you can. MadMerv for instance has been road racing miatas since they came out. I know I"ve seen him in them since 1994 personally at least. I've been working in, around, and on them since 1992. And plenty of others have as well. :)

So I'll put this as delicately as I can. Post pics, or quit asking stupid questions about something you have no idea what it is or how to describe it!

    Oh hell...

I guess I'm not someone knowledgeable about it since I didn't get a copy of the picture

Since you are in Richardson, why don't you just drive down to Town North Mazda and ask the parts guy to look at it and sell you a replacement part?
