Quick NTAXS points update. Remember that the person with the most points for the season in each class gets a free entry next season. You must have points in the same class for three events to be eligible.

Class S2000 has been dominated by Tom Monheim with 36 points. Everyone else is mathematically eliminated since the next highest is 9 points with two events left, so we have a winner!

Speaking of the Monheims, Ryan Monheim leads Class 1 with 24 points. However, Ashley Leonard (18 points), Mick Harrison (10), Steve Eberlein (9), John Clark (, Gabby Garner (7), Grant Watkins (7), and Kevin Bartels (6) are all still in the game. Event winners get nine points, so with two events to go, anyone within 18 points of the lead is possible.

Class 1R is tied up between Kenny Baker (1 and Mark Cameron (15).

Chris Park and Scott Steider are tied for Class 2 with 18 points. Since 18 more points are possible this season, then anyone who already has points in Class 2 for this season (54 drivers) is eligible for the win.

Jim Harris and Rich Gonzales are tied with 9 points in 2R, with Dmitry Zaltsberg at 6 points. Anybody’s game here.

Jon Beatty (15) leads Ben White (12) in Class 3. However, any one of the nine drivers with existing points in Class 3 this season could steal the win.

Class 3R is a ghost town this season with no drivers scoring points.

Class X has been a success this season with 22 drivers participating. Gern Blanston (if that’s his real name) leads with 26 points over Armstrong Vongsavath (14), Iain Peebles (14), Mike McShane (13), Jerrett Jan (11), and Brad Henderson (9).
