Well, I found out that my downpipe is busted up pretty bad. So I am going to start with fixing it. Here is a couple of pics of it if your interested.

I think that is a right of passage for owners of the old style FM/BEGI system. Now you get to dredge through the pointy board debate of which company's new design is best.
Sheeeet!! I'm going to try to weld it first. Hopefully it will hold for at least a month or two before I have to get a new downpipe.

That metal is very brittle from all the heat cycles.
I have a nice MSM one you can have to tide you by if you need
one is cast with a few issues from forging problems, I haven't heard anything bad about the SS product.Quote:

Thanks for the offer on letting me borrow your downpipe. I'm not going to need it, I'm going to weld mine back together until I can get a new one. Its only $20 from a friend so why not. If it lasts for a month or two I'd be happy. He's also going to be welding my harness bar on.
