i registered a few months back, but only recently have been granted access.
i bought a 1993 miata with a factory limited slip, leather, and a 5 speed. its white with tan interior. it had 122,000 miles, but in the last few months i have put 6k miles more on it. i added a hardtop (i pulled the soft top out completely), a hard dog roll bar, an aluminum kirkey seat for the driver with a sabelt 6 point harness and a sabelt steering wheel, 2005 brakes on the front and rear, suspension techniques sway bars with a set of spherical rod end adjustable end links i made myself, i got a set of silver bilstiens off of a 2005 mazda speed mx5 with ground force coils overs with 375lb front springs and 250lb rears. i also eliminated the factory silencer in the air intake, put a header on it and removed the cat, got a set of front and rear factory lip spoilers, and a set of turn signal air intake thingys. i added a set of 15x7.5 rota slipstreams with 225/50/15 kumho ast's. i have yet to get my air intake and exhaust system. i spent too much money on the car already! i bought it solely as a daily driver so i could finish up my other project car, a 1988 trans am gta with an ls2 and a big 80mm turbo.
future plans call for possibly a motor and trans out of a s2000. im no stranger to motor swaps, as evident to anyone who has seen my trans am. fabricating is a hobby of mine.
so, maybe ill get to one of the meets one day and meet a few people.
