What were you towing with?
'03 RAM 3500 Quad-cab, Single Rear wheel, Short-bed, 2WD, High Output Cummins with a 6-speed manual tranny. Its bone stock. No mods to it at all. WOOO WOO!
Only 305 HP, but 555 Ft. Lbs of torque at 1400 RPM.
TTIWWP
Need pics of the wheeling trip too!!!!!
I ain't got nothin' to gripe about now that mine works again... BTW... Unless the fuel gauge has changed, looks like over 22 mpg on this tank at the half-way mark. Not bad considering a lot of idling, and dragging my heavy-ass made out of lead horse trailer around.
My dads Ram 3500 wouldn't pull my 914 on the 18ft goose in the hills west of Shreveport at 70.
The old F-350 I put a Banks pushing 11psi, would pull the Dodge and trailer better.
Oh yeah before FI all the old Diesel engines were dogs. That has changed thankfully.
