My GSR was hit by a deer and so while im slowly fixing it out of pocket I am looking for a cheap (around $1K) beater to drive around. I have mainly found a few Civics but would love to get into a Miata. Not sure if any could be this cheap, just checking. Thanks guys!

Unless you find a Barn Find or someone who doesn't know what they have, probably not. While it is possible most running Miatas bring at least $1800.

Yeah I worked for Nelson for a few years. I only do contract work for them now, been doing the videography for the Red Bull P-38. Going out there tomorrow in fact, it will be flying very soon.
While it may be more than I want to spend, I would be interested in hearing some more about your Impreza.

It is amazing how many planes they having going right now, they are very busy!
As far as the F4U-4 is concerned I believe that would be the one they are doing for NPA, whom doesn't want any publicity. It has been a very involved rebuild.
You really should try to come over for a visit in the next few weeks. You will not be disappointed with whats in the hangar, and you might even get to see the P-38 flying!
