Car is sold... now my search for a Miata begins.
Nice car......
As a previous E36 M3 owner I just wanted to add some input to this.
This looks like a really nice car. The glove box and steering wheel issues are very common and not a big deal. The mods are all things the car should have came with.
One he left out is the E46 M3 lip spoiler on the trunk (better than the stock spoiler IMO).
One more thing, the interior looks to be in really good shape and magma (tan) is somewhat rare.
Good luck with the sale!
Thats my dream car, one of these days. . .
Let me play devils advocate here...
I hate to break the news to you but one of the days may never happen.
You are in Lubbock... you may be swept up in a big sand storm, struck in the head by some tumbleweed when your top is down or worse shot by Bob Knight when he is bird hunting.
So live for today... a few dollars a day in interest can allow you your dreams.
Only $9 Trillion in consumer debt in the US... whats another $16K more? :drive:
Now lets trade. :D
Pretty good price on a fairly low mileage 99 M3. I remember just a few years ago something like this would still have a 19-21K asking price. I'd be all over this but I don't miss my M3 at all :)
So you've been out here. . .I had a huge tumbleweed in my yard, literally the size of my car. We even put Christmas lights on it, sadly it blew away. And Yes it is on of a my dream cars, and I will probably own one some day. That being said, I love my miata, and it's gonna stay with me for a while.
Dude, When did you get a BMW?
Nice clean car! I love this car but hate to pay for the up keep. Price for the car is very reasonable, but keep it running the way it should be may require more than a few coins! :-( This is just the TCB of me.
I think this is a common misconception. These cars are very easy to work on. If you can maintain your Miata, you can do all the work on this car too. If you order all your parts online, they're not that expensive. For example, a entire cooling system service can be done for $250 in parts (radiator, water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing, new belts and hoses). Plus you don't have to worry about a timing belt.
Don't let Cosmos scare you out of these cars. I think his was a bit a problem child. I bought my '97 M3 with 70k miles and drove it until it had 120k. It was super reliable and never had any issues other than maintenance.
