I am thinking about going if the weather is nice. It is at the dog track. I want to try out the new toy. Anybody else thinking about going? You know you want to.

Hey! I can get from my house in Murphy all the way to downtown Houston on a single tank... and I can bring more than a sandwich along with me for the ride. ::Bleh::
rioyellows2k on the s2000 forum made me a good deal on their blue S2000 CR. Feels real good in the corners on the sticky street tires. Can't wait to see how it does on R's
Congrats on the new toy, Robert!
Wow, that's cool! Look forward to seeing it.
Wow, is that thing official for AS next season? Those are beautiful, saw the very one a while back.
Thanks guys, I traded in the yellow car.
CosmosMpower,
Yes they are in AS next season at least for now. After driving it I think it may get moved if it is as fast as I think, but it is hard to tell how much is just the sticky tires.
Get these for the Elise, http://racequiet.com/. I had them for the S2000 when I had the single Ti on it.
Nice on the S2000 CR.
Hmm Houston on 1/6. I might try to make it out to ECR.
42 db noise reduction is a bit hard to believe. Even the best in ear headphones ($400 shures etc) only block 25 db max and I believe in ear phone earplugs are mid 30's. Did those really work as good as advertised? I just bought a set of Ultimate Ears Pro fi 5 IEMs, haven't tried them in the car yet.
If you really want to block out some noise, let me know. I have a friend who is an audiologist that specializes in custom earplugs.
Depends on what you consider pricey. She has offered to fit me for a set for ~$400. I don't know what the retail price is.
Personally, I'm a big fan of disposable foam earplugs. I keep several sets in my work jacket, and I wear them religiously when I'm out on a machine at work. If I drop one down a blasthole it doesn't cost me anything, which wouldn't be the case with $400 custom ones.
