I got the wife 2-dozen roses for our 20th. (First time she ever got roses from me).
Flowers and a weekend getaway to a B&B somewhere.
Flowers and handcuffs.
Wow congrats on 20 Years.
Not knowing your wife = suggestions not being accurate.
My wife and I like what we call "date nights"... we get dressed up and go to dinner and _______ (whatever she likes).
Normally I keep it all a secret and tell her that on Saturday she needs to be ready by 6pm... and the dress required.
Through the whole week she will try and guess... normally I will keep it all in.
My wife and I just had a date night this past weekend... lunch and a play (musical; Goodbye Girl at Theatre Three).
Also a suprise trip to a B&B and antique rummaging are always fun.
Its fun to revert back to the courtship phase occasionally... can help keep the magic alive.
I think this is a neat idea.......one of those digital photo frames (doesn't have to be one of the big ones) and you pre-upload photos of you, you and her, pets, kids, family, etc....
Throw in a couple of you racing, of course........ ;)
The more it hurts to buy it, the more she will like it. Bling Bling's the thing!
Thanks for all the replys, some really great ideas!
I liked Samm's gift. :D
Definately like this Idea ;), and she might actually like it too, but would probably wait until the 16 year-old is out of the house before letting me install it.
Thats good, now where to find one?? Would Frys carry that?
Hey, a friend just called me with tickets to Sunday's Cowboy Game, said he will let a pair go for $300. The wife is a BIG fan, much more than I am. Would that count?
Bed Bath and Beyond has the digital photo picture frames.
I got one for Lee at Office Depot but I've seen them at Sam's and Wal-Mart.
You know, year's ago, there was a hotel in Dallas that if you stayed with them the night before the game, they had a free shuttle to and from the Cowboy's game......for year's my whole family would book rooms and go to the Thanksgiving day game. I THINK it was the Harvey Hotel on 635.
If it were me, and I was still a Cowboy's fan, I'd like a very nice dinner, a romantic night at a hotel and someone else driving us to the game so I could drink lots of overpriced beer.
