Looks like a hell of a deal to me. Is it a demo or something?
Sounds like a good deal to me!
I dunno how much they are marking down the leftovers, but 2 grand under invoice for a brand new car sounds like a decent deal to me.
Not a demo, just left over inventory.
Kelly Blue shows the following :
Excellent
$22,180
Good
$20,930

Tell them what you want and say yes or no, give them a second to look it up and either make a deal or hang up and move on. Town North and a few others were advertising 6K off MSRP and I ended up finding a dealer in San Antonio that gave me 10K off sticker. I took a few hours and about 20-30 phone calls but it worked.
If you can find a local deal like that just browsing around you can probably find a lot somewhere that REALLY needs to move some of their inventory badly.
Looks like a very good deal.
www.edmunds.com will help calculate pricing.
Yes it's mine, I gave the turbo to my son. I've had it since October, and really really like it. :D
As Cosmos said, I got on the Mazda USA site and inquired about a lot of cars. Mine's an '08 and the PHRT, but I was still able to get a good price of $1,200 over invoice. However, I had to drive to GreorgeTown to get it. Give Premier Mazda a call, but tell them I send you, and I'll splitt the $100 check they will send me if you purchase;)
My salesman's name was Ron Wiley, and I've got his cell number if you want it. They move tons of Miatae there.
Cool, i am closing in on a deal.
It's looking like the 2007 GT in True red, i would rather have the copper red with tan leather but....it's a good deal!
going to test drive it tomorrow, yay!

looks like it's wed., Katt got real sick so I am babysitting today...lol
got another quote on a different NC.
what do you guys think about this one....
2007 Sport 5 speed
for $19,265.00
out of the two which would you choose and why?
For a little over 2k you get leather, heated seats (nice this time of year), and stereo with extra speakers. You also get some of that back on resale as factory options carry some value. I guess you need to decide what you're doing with the car. As a daily driver I would want the GT but as a weekend/autocross I'd want the Sport.Quote:

Personally, I have a 2006 Touring that I bought from Plano Toyota couple weeks back for 14,900 and 11,250 miles. The three things that come to mind that I don't care for are:
1. Cloth seats are more delicate than I thought. I can see one getting a rip or tear in near future. (Though I do like cloth in Texas summers).
2. Base stereo does not have multi-load cd capabilty and speakers are in doors only. Miata stereos are not easy to hear at highway speeds top down.
3. This one is probably all models but the seat belts frequently hang up in the seat guide. Quite annoying.
I think if I were buying new though, I would opt for the GT.
i was looking at the one you bought...glad it got a good home though
the only difference that I have found is upgraded stereo, and the heated leather seats...oh and 17in wheels on the GT instead of 16in on the sport.
I was concerned about the seats, they looked flimsey to me too, i think i am going to test drive the GT tomorrow.
thanks!
