Well, I'm supposed to leave for New Mexico tomorrow morning, and I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm weather-jinxed...

Yes.
(Some would say it is foolish for a Miata owner to plan an annual driving trip in the dead of winter.) ;-)
Yeah if your listening to the news today you can expect 15 inches of ice accumulation in Dallas and an estimated 12.2 Million dead from the storm tonight. :rolleyes:
Rick, enjoy your trip. My GF and I are headed to Big Bend next month so you may not be the only weather challenged Miata traveler.
Just keep your trunk full, go easy on the gas, and don't be afraid to dirt-track it around the corners!
Man... with Harold Taft gone, Troy Dungan retired, and even Scott Chesner doing fishing reports for East Texas TV, we just don't have anybody we can count on!
Hell, gimme Jocelyn White and her, uh, "twin talents" over any of these doofs we've got now!
::BaHump::
Ah yes, "Josslin Jocelyn". Every time she turned sideways in front of the weather map she eclipsed half of Texas.
