well i got a great offer on my honda shadow and decided to take it .... money never lasts long in my pockets ;-)
this afternoon picked up my new toy 2000 Honda Superhawk 996 ....

Is that the Hawk that was on Craigs List? Great bike, I had one for a while a few years back. Fun to ride, love V-twins but the gas mileage sucks on the Hawk, I ran the tank dry outside of Glen Rose with 125 miles on the trip odometer..........

naw it was in cycle trader ... i saw the one on CL too but he wanted more than i had ... love it so far
the guy on CL wanted 4400 for his too rich for my blood .... this one was listed at 3750 and i got it for 3200 :-)
gas mileage i have already noticed ... :-( the reserve light came on at 90 miles yest on my way to work ... but i am very heavy on the throttle too

I have been wanting a bike for a long time and I swear that one day I will be able to buy that Ninja 250R.
i bought the woman a 96 rebel this weekend too, i go riding usually on every sat if the weather is decent i am game anytime on the weekends, trying to trace a fuel system clog me thinks some gunk got in the vacuum lines from it sitting for a bit so this weekend the tank and all associated parts are coming off for a good cleanup ;-)
there is a seat stashed under the cowl ;-)
