They finally signed the deal? Seems like months ago that I first read the story. I think it will be a very good thing for Jaguar.

They are run 1000 times better than Ford, have lots of cash to pump in to making Jag successful, and have high quality low cost manufacturing capabilities. As long as they are able to attract and retain top automotive engineers, they will be fine. So from that standpoint it is a good thing for both Jaguar and Land Rover.
