Okay, as mentioned in this thread, we're going to get together to visit the Dallas Auto Show as a group. I've proposed 1pm on Saturday as a meeting time - we can meet at the entrance.
Let us know if you can make it!

Barbara and I will be taking the ThunderRocket to Austin for Lonestar Roundup.

The music alone is worth the drive, a 1000 of the best hot rods is too.
There will be real hot rods from all over the country rolling toward Austin, so keep a eye peeled.
A large gaggle is gathering at Czech Stop in West Friday Morning as always.

I would love to go if it were free.
Not only would I have to spend money to get in I am a recovering car addict.
So a Car Show is like taking a recovering alcoholic to a liquor store... heck having your nice RX-8 in my garage a few weekends ago made me sweat. ;)
:queen: says we're busy Saturday. Have fun, guys!
I am there, looking up train times now.
Dammit...
As usual, life has reared its ugly head. My home alarm went on the fritz (going off at 4 this morning. :banghead: ), and the only appt. I can get for someone to come out and fix it is 12-5pm on Saturday. :(
It certainly has turned against me lately. Thankfully the roof turned out to be something I could (and did) fix myself.
Unfortunately, the alarm problem I can't fix myself. The alarm goes off to tell you to replace the battery, but I can't get this particular size of battery through anyone but ADT. If I disco the battery myself while the unit still has house power the alarm will go off, and if I shut off the house power and disco the battery apparently all hell will break loose when I power it up again unless I have some special service tool. How convenient. :?
::Censor:: technology.
Every 20 minutes on weekends, except for early mornings/late nights where it is every 30 minutes. I usually take the train to get around Plano/Richardson and rarely go that far south, so I needed to look up when I need to board to get to downtown (11:47am in my case).
Does anyone know if there will be wheelchairs for people to use if needed?
My girlfriend had a knee worked on and that much walking would hurt her leg.
So who's still planning on going?
