'97 is on the road again

I wanted to thank Gary, at Track Dog, for supplying me with a good transmission, and related components for a transectamy. As I may have mentioned, Austin found out what extra h/p can do to a transmission when mechanical empathy isn't applied. He got his first "real" opportunity to get his hands dirty and dive into a transmission swap. All went well, and he is back on the road again hopefully with more respect for the car than before.

BTW, Gary's a real nice guy, it was nice finally meeting him.

How much boost did you give him to blow out the tranny?

Glad the swap went well.

I was driving my dad 03' FM car when the tranny went south too, so I know how Austin feels. Luckily for me my dad was the one sitting next to me saying gun it!

Yeah, he did the same thing to me, "then" he told me about you destroying second. ;)

He's running at the lowest setting w/o disabling the boost, at 8psi. He actually wasn't getting on it at the time, but I know he hasn't been easy on it either.;)
