Anyone want to sell me a stock 1.6 header for cheap. I'm pretty sure mine has a leak in it. Rather than messing with taking it off and taking it to get welded, I'd rather just swap it out and throw in some new gaskets in one fell swoop....
Or, if anyone has a direct bolt in aftermarket header i might be interested.....
I was looking at this, but would i need to move or install a new cat....... sorry not sure what miata plumbing looks like
It replaces the stock header and down pipe. Will bolt right up to the cat.
EBay headers for Miatas have a bad reputation. Miata.net is full of stories of people having problems with them.
Thats what i'm gathering from poking around miata.net.
Also apears the stock 1.6 is a tubular header so my gains from an aftermarket header will be minimal... input on that?
I've got a stock piece sitting in the garage. It came off my replacement motor and appears to have a slight ding in the #3 tube. Free, you come fetch it in east FTW off 30.
