After shooting off fireworks in my brothers pasture away from his house, the kids put all the trash in my brothers Polaris 4x4 and returned to the house. I was so glad there were no injury's.
However, right after the show, my brothers father-in-law and I were adding freon to his truck and were using the light in the garage, so the kids weren't able to park the Polaris in the garage...good thing. While we were working on the truck everyone came running out of the house yelling ::Shocked: FIRE!:gaah:
Apparently some of the fireworks were still smoldering, and re-ignited, the entire bed of the Polaris was engulfed in flames, which was quickly put out with a water hose. Fortunately no damage done to the Polaris, as the fire hadn't been burning long enough to melt the bed.
After that my brothers nerves seem to be on-edge:pale: as his house has only been completed for about 2 months, and if his father-in-law and I wasn't working on the truck, that thing would have been in the garage, and probably wouldn't have been noticed. Close call
