Slight Change to Discount Tire Tire Contingency Program
Lee and I will be running the Discount Tire Tire Contingency Program for SCCA starting at the July SCCA event.
All rules and procedures will remain the same except for two items:
1 – Entries for the Tire Contingency will no longer be done during/at Tech. This should improve the flow of cars moving through Tech.
You must bring your car over to where our blue Dodge dually, trailer and brown #79 Corvette are parked (at TMS, this will be at the back of the paddock area. At LaGrave, we’re generally near the South fence.
By the August events, we will have the tire company banners up around the trailer so you’ll be able to find us easily.
Lee or I will check your tires and decals (we’ll have decals if you need them) and give you a card to fill out to put in the drawing box for your brand of tires.
2 – We will be “open” from the time we arrive (~7:30 for SCCA events) until the 1st heat starts (note – if the kid karts are running before the 1st heat starts, then we will stop taking entries when the karts start running so cars are not in motion while the karts are on course).
One entry per driver per event.
Once tire/vehicle inspection is closed, no further entries will be issued or accepted for that event under any circumstance.
