Freeman Mazda know what they're selling?

On Craigslist I came across this:

Looks to me like they just have the wrong pictures of the car, you see they say it has the 2.0l

Nobody ever said that dealers were the smartest bunch.

Everything written (including the vin) is consistent with an NC.

17+ large one for a 07 is kind of high!

Actually, a quick autotrader search shows that $17k for an 07 NC is actually kinda low for an asking price. And edmunds has the 07 listed at $18k to $24k in their "TMV".

Convertibles have been really holding their value well lately.

Considering that it is now considered a nearly two year old car by most dealer aspects, that would be in the typical 12k/year average range. I bought my 2005 on August the 31st. The 2006's hit the market about two weeks earlier.

Ah, didn't see the 24k mile part. I wouldn't even call what I said an appraisal. More like "look at the autotrader listings and see what others are asking". It still seems about right to me though.

I wouldn't buy anything from Freeman. I had the WORST experience with their service department and will never go back again. On top of not doing what I asked them to, they then told me I didn't know what I was talking about (read as: I received the 'stupid girl' treatment).

I had a decent experience with the internet sales manager at the beginning of 06. Was shopping around and he was pretty straight forward no BS. He couldn't do the 10K off I wanted on the RX-8 but he offered 7 and didn't waste my time. Other than that no experience with them. I really like Classic in Denton though. Everyone is really nice and the service dept is very accomodating. (They got me in and out in 30 mins on lunch breaks a few times)
